4th week of my little project
i had to pass the 3rd week, cause of preparation on a job i agreed to do.

2nd week of the one video a week project.
i had very little time to put this togehter. i was lucky to have a sunny day to shoot parts of it. i started to shoot stuff without any concept and put this little thing togehter.
i ended up to show a story where a girl remembers her childhood and her feelings about it.
shot on the canon 550D with a canon 50mm FD lens. -
This is the first video of this year’s “one video a week” project.
300 fps with the Olympus iSpeed, an industrial highspeed camera, which can record up to 30000 fps but in very small and poor quality. The problem with the Olympus iSpeed is, that the sensor swallows so much light, that even our two 800w lamps, standing two feet away from our face, had a hard time doing the job.
But it was fun though! Enjoy and have a happy new year!

Production Website(done)The website launched on 1st of November I think. The basics are done, so the site is good to go, but theres always something you want to improve. - One-video-a-week project (starting 2012)
UPDATE: This project is starting sunday the 8th of January!
This is going to be a personal challange for myself. In the last few months I did a lot of work on planing or writing projects and didn’t get that much to shoot. But when we shot “The Hunt” the last week I got the jimjams again. So for the next year I’m planning on finishing one video a week. Some kind of new years resolution. So thats going to be 52 videos in 2012. Wuff… okay, but hey, lets do it.
- Short film
UPDATE: Still going. Script is in process. I’d like to shoot it in March this year, so that it can be completed by early summer.
There has been an idea for a short film in my mind for almost half a year now. I got distracted by other ideas and stories but this one is insistent. I have the feeling that it will not let go of my till its produced, shot and screened. So I’ll have to work on that to even it is in an very early stage. First I gotta write it. Then we’ll move on and see if anyones want to see it. I’ll keep you posted on this one too.

- Webseries
UPDATE: As you may see, I have a lot to work on this year, so I’m not sure if I can deliver the webseries this year too. But I met someone on a filmer exposition in November in Stuttgart in 2011. He’s deep into choreographing fight scenes for film and television. He’s also workinng on a webseries which will be set in the post apocalypse, so maybe we can combine forces and produce something good. But this is still very unsure, so don’t count on it.
I love the format of the series. But I’m no tv hotshot so I gotta use what I can and have. So the webseries format is the thing to go for me. This ones gonna be tough. I plan on telling an post-apocalyptic story in Berlin (without zombies! @walkingdead fanboys). Most recently one of the first post apocalyptic german genre movie “Hell” opened in the cinemas, so I gess the time may be right to start using the run down landscapes and constructions the cold war has given to Berlin (like the teufelsberg, heilstätten or the olympic village). I’ll keep you posted on this one.
